From East Coast Park, head towards the nearest exit leading to the main road. Once you reach the road, turn left and walk towards the traffic light. Cross the road and continue straight until you reach the East Coast Parkway (ECP) exit. Follow the signposts leading to Marina Bay or the city center. After a short walk, you will come to the bus stop where you can catch a bus heading to the Central Area. Take bus number 36 or 197. Alight at the Empress Place stop, which is a short walk from the Dalhousie Obelisk.

If you have rented a bike at East Coast Park, start cycling along the park's designated bike paths. Head towards the exit that leads to the main road. Once you exit the park, follow the bike lane that leads to the East Coast Parkway (ECP). Continue cycling on the ECP towards Marina Bay. Look for signposts indicating the route to Empress Place. After approximately 15 minutes of cycling, you will arrive at the Dalhousie Obelisk, which is located near the waterfront.
