  • Public Bus

    From Bukit Timah, head to the nearest bus stop, such as the bus stop near Bukit Timah Shopping Centre. Take bus number 67, 75, or 170 towards the city. Stay on the bus for about 30-35 minutes until you reach the bus stop at Raffles City. From there, walk towards the Civic District, taking a left onto Stamford Road. Continue straight, passing the National Gallery Singapore on your right, and cross the road at the traffic lights. The Asian Civilisations Museum will be on your left at 1 Empress Place.

    If you are near Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, head down Bukit Timah Road towards Dunearn Road. Walk straight along Bukit Timah Road until you reach the junction with Bencoolen Street. Turn left onto Bencoolen Street and continue walking straight. Keep walking until you reach the junction with St. Andrew's Road, where you will see the National Gallery Singapore. Cross St. Andrew's Road and continue straight onto Empress Place. The Asian Civilisations Museum will be on your left.

    From Bukit Timah, make your way to the nearest MRT station, which is Beauty World MRT Station on the Downtown Line. Take the train towards Expo and alight at the Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station. Transfer to the North-South Line towards Marina South Pier. Alight at City Hall MRT Station. From City Hall, take Exit A and walk towards the Raffles City Shopping Centre. Continue walking towards the Civic District, cross the road at the traffic lights, and the Asian Civilisations Museum will be on your left at 1 Empress Place.
