Car
If you are driving, head towards the Central Expressway (CTE) from Novena. Follow signs for the CTE and merge onto it. Continue on CTE and take the exit for the Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE). Follow the signs for Esplanade Drive and exit onto Esplanade Drive. You can find parking facilities at the Esplanade Theatres on the Bay. Note that parking fees may apply, typically around SGD 2-3 per hour.
MRT
Take the North-South Line MRT from Novena MRT Station (NS20) towards Marina South Pier. Alight at the City Hall MRT Station (NS25/EW13). From City Hall, take Exit B and walk towards the Esplanade. The walk will take approximately 10-15 minutes. You will pass by the Singapore River and can enjoy the scenic views along the way.
Bus
From Novena, you can take Bus 21 or Bus 131 from the bus stop located near Novena MRT Station. Alight at the bus stop at Temasek Boulevard (the stop is near Suntec City). From there, it is a 10-minute walk to the Esplanade Roof Terrace. Walk towards Esplanade Drive, and follow the signs to the Esplanade.
