Start from the Orchard MRT Station (NS22). Exit the station and head towards Orchard Road. Walk along Orchard Road in the direction of Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station (NS24, NE6, CC1). After approximately 10 minutes of walking, keep an eye out for the entrance to Fort Canning Park on your left. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with River Valley Road. Cross the street and continue straight until you see Empress Place on your right. The Asian Civilisations Museum is located at 1 Empress Place, just a short walk from the intersection.

From Orchard Road, find a bus stop and take bus number 36 or 105 in the direction of the City Hall area. Alight at the stop 'Raffles Ave - Esplanade'. From there, walk along Raffles Avenue towards the Marina Bay area. Continue walking until you reach Empress Place. The Asian Civilisations Museum will be on your right at 1 Empress Place. This journey should take around 20 minutes.
