After about 20 stops, alight at the bus stop named 'Woodlands Checkpoint'. From here, you will need to proceed towards the Malaysia Immigration checkpoint. After clearing immigration, follow the signs to the public bus terminal. Once at the terminal, take Bus 170 towards Johor Bahru. Alight at the stop 'Jalan Gertak Merah'. The Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque will be a short walk away.

Start at Yishun MRT Station and board the North South Line towards Marina South Pier. Travel to Kranji MRT Station. From Kranji, exit and walk towards the bus stop near the station. Take Bus 170 towards Johor Bahru. Once you arrive at 'Jalan Gertak Merah', the Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque will be within walking distance.
