Public Bus
From Yishun MRT Station, exit and walk to the bus interchange located nearby. Take Bus 858 towards Woodlands Train Checkpoint. After about 20 stops, alight at the bus stop named 'Woodlands Checkpoint'. From here, you will need to proceed towards the Malaysia Immigration checkpoint. After clearing immigration, follow the signs to the public bus terminal. Once at the terminal, take Bus 170 towards Johor Bahru. Alight at the stop 'Jalan Gertak Merah'. The Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque will be a short walk away.
Train and Bus
Start at Yishun MRT Station and board the North South Line towards Marina South Pier. Travel to Kranji MRT Station. From Kranji, exit and walk towards the bus stop near the station. Take Bus 170 towards Johor Bahru. Once you arrive at 'Jalan Gertak Merah', the Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque will be within walking distance.
Walking and Public Bus
If you are near Yishun Central, walk to the bus stop at Yishun Avenue 2, and take Bus 39 towards Sembawang MRT Station. Alight after 9 stops at 'Sembawang MRT'. From there, walk to the bus terminal and board Bus 965 towards Johor Bahru. Alight at 'Jalan Gertak Merah'. The Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque will be a short walk from the bus stop.
