Start your journey from the center of Cole Bay. Head towards Welfare Road, which is the main road running through Cole Bay. Walk along Welfare Road until you reach the intersection with A. Th. Illidge Road. Turn left onto A. Th. Illidge Road and continue walking. As you walk, you will pass local shops and restaurants, giving you a taste of the local culture. Keep walking straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit to stay on A. Th. Illidge Road. Continue for a few more minutes until you see signs pointing towards Philipsburg. Follow these signs, and you will eventually reach the Great Salt Pond, located on your left side as you approach Philipsburg. It's a picturesque area, perfect for taking in the views and enjoying some fresh air.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can start from the center of Cole Bay. Head towards Welfare Road and follow the same route as pedestrians. Cycle along Welfare Road until you reach the intersection with A. Th. Illidge Road. Turn left onto A. Th. Illidge Road and continue to the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit to stay on A. Th. Illidge Road. Keep cycling straight, and look for the signs directing you to Philipsburg. The Great Salt Pond will appear on your left as you approach the city. Enjoy the ride and the local scenery along the way!
