Car
If you're driving, start from Philipsburg and head northwest on Walter Nisbeth Road (also known as the A. C. Wathey Cruise & Cargo Facilities). Continue straight for about 2.5 km, following the signs toward Marigot. Once you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route de Sandy Ground. Continue for about 1 km, then turn left onto Rue de la Liberté. Fort St. Louis will be on your right at 3WC7+8Q3, Marigot, St. Martin. There might be parking available nearby, but be aware that some areas may charge a fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Fort St. Louis using public transportation, take a bus from Philipsburg to Marigot. Buses usually leave from the main bus terminal in Philipsburg, which is located near the cruise port. Look for a bus heading to Marigot; the fare is typically around 2-3 USD. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Marigot, walk towards Rue de la Liberté, where you'll find Fort St. Louis at the address 3WC7+8Q3. The walk is approximately 10 minutes from the bus stop.
Taxi
For a more direct option, you can take a taxi from Philipsburg to Fort St. Louis. Taxis are available throughout Philipsburg, and you can find them near the cruise terminal or major hotels. The cost of a taxi ride to Marigot is about 20-30 USD, depending on your exact pickup location. Inform the driver that you would like to go to Fort St. Louis on Rue de la Liberté.
