If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Philipsburg. Head east on Walter Nisbeth Road (also known as the main road). Continue straight, and you will pass several shops and restaurants. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach an intersection with a traffic light. Turn right onto Great Bay Road. Follow this road for about 500 meters. You will see Great Bay Beach on your left side. Look for parking options along the road or in nearby lots. Be aware that parking may incur a fee, typically around $2-$5 per hour depending on the location.

Public Transportation (Bus)
For public transportation, you can catch a local bus (also called a 'bus' but more akin to a minivan) from various points in Philipsburg. Look for a bus heading towards Great Bay. They usually depart from the bus terminal near the cruise terminal or main street. The fare is about $2 per person. Once you board, inform the driver you are going to Great Bay Beach. The bus will drop you off at the entrance to the beach area. From there, it’s a short walk to the beach itself.

If you are staying near the central part of Philipsburg, you can also walk to Great Bay Beach. Simply head east along the waterfront boardwalk, which is a pleasant stroll. The distance is approximately 1 kilometer, and it should take you around 15-20 minutes on foot. Follow the signs for Great Bay Beach, and you will eventually reach the beach and its beautiful views. Enjoy the scenic walk along the coast.
