Getting There
Car
From Philipsburg, head northeast on Route 1 (Walter Nisbeth Road) towards Great Bay. Continue for about 3 kilometers until you reach the roundabout at the entrance to the airport. Take the second exit onto Route 3 (Avenue de la Liberté) and follow it for about 5 kilometers. When you reach the next roundabout, take the first exit onto Route 4 (Rue de la Liberté) towards Cul-de-Sac. After approximately 3 kilometers, you will see signs for Pinel Island. Park your car at the designated parking area near the Cul-de-Sac beach.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Philipsburg, walk to the bus terminal located near the Carnival Village. Take a bus heading to Marigot (the capital of the French side). Inform the driver that you want to get off at Cul-de-Sac. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Cul-de-Sac, follow the signs to the Pinel Island ferry terminal. The ferry ride to Pinel Island takes about 10 minutes and costs around $12 round trip. Ensure to check the ferry schedule for the return trip to avoid long waits.

You can also take a taxi directly from anywhere in Philipsburg to Cul-de-Sac. The taxi fare is typically around $30 to $40, depending on your exact pickup location.
