Car
If you're driving to Slavín, head towards the center of Bratislava and follow signs for 'Staré Mesto' (Old Town). From the main road, take Karadžičova Street and then turn onto Pažického Street. You will see signs for Slavín as you approach. There is a parking area near the memorial, but it can fill up quickly, so plan to arrive early.
Public Transportation
To reach Slavín via public transport, take tram number 1 or 3 from the main train station (Hlavná Stanica). Get off at the 'Zámocká' stop. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk. Head towards the hill on your right, following the signs directing you to Slavín. You can also take bus number 28 from 'Hlavná Stanica' to 'Slavín' which drops you off directly at the memorial.
Walking
If you are in the Old Town area and prefer to walk, start at the Main Square (Hlavné námestie) and head towards the Presidential Palace (Prezidentský palác). From there, follow the path leading up the hill towards Pažického Street. It's about a 25-minute uphill walk to Slavín, but you'll be rewarded with beautiful views over the city once you arrive.
