Car
From Dolina, take the main road heading southeast towards the village of Lietava. Follow the signs for Lietava and continue on the road for approximately 10 kilometers (about 15 minutes). Once you reach Lietava, look for the signs directing you to Castle Lietava. The castle is located at Lietava 614, 013 18 Lietava. There is usually free parking available near the castle.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from Dolina to the nearby town of Žilina. You can find the bus schedule at the local bus station or online. The journey to Žilina typically takes about 30 minutes. Once in Žilina, transfer to a bus heading to Lietava. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. After arriving in Lietava, it is about a 15-20 minute walk to Castle Lietava, following local signs towards the castle.
Walking
If you are already in Lietava, you can walk to Castle Lietava from the village center. Head towards the main road and follow the signs for the castle, which is approximately a 1.5 km walk. The path will take you through some scenic views, so enjoy the surroundings as you make your way to the castle.
