Car
From Dolina, head southeast on the main road (E58) towards the town of Oravský Podzámok. The drive is approximately 25 kilometers and should take around 30 minutes. Follow the road signs for Oravský Podzámok. Once you arrive in Oravský Podzámok, look for signs directing you to Orava Castle, which is located on a hilltop overlooking the town. There is a parking area available near the castle.

If you prefer public transport, start by taking a bus from Dolina to the nearby town of Námestovo. Buses usually run every hour, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. From Námestovo, transfer to a bus heading to Oravský Podzámok. This leg of the journey takes around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Oravský Podzámok, you can either walk to the castle (approximately 1.5 km uphill) or take a local taxi if you prefer a shorter route. Be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time to ensure smooth connections.
