Walking
If you are starting from the main train station (Hlavná stanica), exit the station and head south on Karadžičova Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hlavná Street. Turn left onto Hlavná Street, which is the main pedestrian thoroughfare in Košice. Walk along Hlavná Street, enjoying the beautiful architecture and shops on either side. As you continue, you will eventually reach the end of Hlavná Street where you will see the impressive St. Elisabeth Cathedral on your right. Námestie Jána Mathého is just a few steps further ahead on your left side at the intersection with Mlynská Street.

From the main train station (Hlavná stanica), you can take bus number 17 towards the city center. Board the bus and ride for two stops. Get off at the 'Hlavná' stop, which is located near Hlavná Street. From there, walk towards Hlavná Street and proceed as follows: turn left onto Hlavná Street and walk straight until you reach the end of the street where you will see St. Elisabeth Cathedral. Námestie Jána Mathého is located just a short walk beyond the cathedral on your left at the intersection with Mlynská Street.
