Bus
To reach Krupówki in Zakopane from Poprad, start by locating the Poprad bus station (Autobusová stanica Poprad) which is centrally located near the train station. Purchase a ticket for the bus to Zakopane. Buses run frequently, typically every 30-60 minutes. Once on the bus, the journey should take around 30-45 minutes. Upon arrival at the Zakopane bus station, exit the bus and head straight towards the main street. Krupówki is a pedestrian street and is just a short walk from the bus station, approximately 10 minutes away. Follow the signs for the town center, and you will soon find yourself on Krupówki, lined with shops, restaurants, and attractions.
Train
Although there is no direct train to Zakopane, you can take a train from Poprad to the nearest town with bus connections to Zakopane. Head to Poprad-Tatry railway station and board a train to Nowy Targ. Once you arrive at Nowy Targ, look for the bus station adjacent to the train station and take a bus to Zakopane. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. After you arrive at the Zakopane bus station, walk towards the main thoroughfare, and you will reach Krupówki in approximately 10 minutes.
Walking
If you are already in Poprad and wish to explore on foot, you could also consider walking to nearby attractions first and then taking a bus or train to Zakopane. However, this is not advisable due to the distance (approximately 30 km). It's best to use public transport to get to Zakopane, as walking would take several hours.
