Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards the village of Stratená. From the center of the Slovak Ore Mountains region, take the main road (E571) towards Rožňava. Continue onto the road leading to the village of Stratená. Once in Stratená, navigate to Stratená 8, where Tarzania is located. There is parking available near the attraction, but be aware that it can fill up quickly during peak tourist seasons.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Tarzania via public transportation, take a train or bus to the nearest major town, which is Rožňava. From Rožňava, you can take a local bus towards Stratená. Buses may not run frequently, so check the local schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Stratená, walk to Stratená 8, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Ensure you have the correct change for the bus fare, as drivers may not provide change.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy walking and are already in Stratená, you can easily reach Tarzania by foot. Starting from the center of the village, head southeast towards Stratená 8. The walk is scenic and should take about 15 minutes. Follow the main road, and look for the signs directing you to Tarzania.
