Getting There

Walking

From the center of Štrbské Pleso, head towards the train station. Once you reach the train station, you will see signs for the hiking trails. Follow the signs towards Čierne pleso. The path is well-marked and will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes on foot. The trail is moderately easy, but be sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes.
Public Transportation

Take a train from the Štrbské Pleso train station towards Poprad-Tatry. After one stop, get off at the next station, which is Štrba. From Štrba, you can find local transport options to get closer to the hiking trails leading to Čierne pleso. However, please note that this might require additional walking to reach the actual trailhead.
Car

If you are driving, take the main road from Štrbské Pleso towards the parking area near the trailhead for Čierne pleso. There are designated parking areas near the trails, but please be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around €5 for a day. After parking, follow the marked trail signs to Čierne pleso, which is about a 1.5 km walk from the parking area.
