If you are traveling by car from the center of Strbske Pleso, head southeast on the main road (Tatranská Štrba - Strbske Pleso road). Continue straight for about 2 kilometers. You will see signs for Nové Štrbské pleso. Turn left when you see the sign and follow the winding road until you reach the parking area near Nové Štrbské pleso. Parking may incur a fee, typically around €5 for a full day.

For those using public transportation, take the local bus from the main bus stop in Strbske Pleso. Buses run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. Look for buses heading towards Vysoké Tatry. The ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop for Nové Štrbské pleso. The bus fare is around €1.50. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to the lake.

If you prefer to walk, start from the central area of Strbske Pleso and follow the marked pedestrian paths. Head southeast on Tatranská Štrba road for about 2 kilometers. You will pass by beautiful landscapes and possibly some local shops. Once you reach the turn-off for Nové Štrbské pleso, follow the signs to the lake, which will be about a 15-minute walk from the road.
