    Car

    If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards Zakopane, which is the main town in the Tatra Mountains. From Zakopane, take Route 958 towards Morskie Oko. Follow the signs for Morskie Oko, which is approximately 25 km from Zakopane. Once you reach the Morskie Oko parking lot, you will need to park your car here. Note that there is a parking fee of around 30 PLN per day. After parking, you will begin your hike towards Czarny Staw under Rysy.

    Hiking

    From the Morskie Oko parking lot, follow the well-marked trail that leads to Morskie Oko lake. This is a scenic walk of about 2 hours (approx. 8 km). Once you reach Morskie Oko, continue along the trail that leads to Czarny Staw under Rysy. The hike from Morskie Oko to Czarny Staw takes about 1 hour (approx. 1.5 km) and is moderately challenging. You will enjoy stunning views as you approach the lake nestled beneath Rysy, the highest peak in Poland.

    Public Transportation

    If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Zakopane to Morskie Oko. Buses run regularly from the main bus station in Zakopane to the Morskie Oko entrance. The bus fare is around 12 PLN one way. After arriving at the Morskie Oko entrance, you will follow the same hiking route to reach Czarny Staw under Rysy. Remember to check the bus schedule for return trips.
