Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Poprad. Take the E50 road towards Vysoké Tatry. Follow the signs for Tatranská Lomnica, and continue driving until you reach the parking area at the base of the Modrá trasa trailhead. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you park your car, follow the signs for the Modrá trasa trail, which leads directly to Jamské tarn. The hike will take about 1-1.5 hours depending on your pace.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train or bus from Poprad to Tatranská Lomnica. The train station is located near the center of Poprad. Once you arrive in Tatranská Lomnica, exit the station and look for local shuttle buses or taxis that can take you to the Modrá trasa trailhead. The shuttle ride may take around 10-15 minutes. After reaching the trailhead, follow the Modrá trasa for approximately 1-1.5 hours to reach Jamské tarn.

If you are already in the vicinity of the Tatras and prefer hiking, find the nearest access point to the Modrá trasa trail. The trail is well-marked and starts in several locations around Vysoké Tatry. Ensure you have proper hiking gear, as some parts of the trail may be steep and rocky. Allocate at least 1-1.5 hours for the hike to Jamské tarn, and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.
