Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Liptovský Mikuláš. Take Route 590 towards Liptovský Ján. Follow the signs for Liptovský Ján. Once in Liptovský Ján, look for signs directing you to Stanišovská Cave, which is located on the outskirts of the village. There is parking available near the entrance of the cave. Please note that there may be a small parking fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Stanišovská Cave via public transport, take a bus from Liptovský Mikuláš to Liptovský Ján. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Liptovský Ján, you can either walk to the cave, which is about a 30-minute walk uphill, or check for local taxi services. The bus fare is typically around €1.50.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Liptovský Ján to Stanišovská Cave, follow the main road towards the cave entrance. The path is well-marked and offers beautiful views of the surrounding nature. It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes.
