Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car from the Tatra Mountains, head towards the D1 highway. Follow signs for Bratislava. Once you reach Bratislava, take the exit for Devín. Continue on Muránská road until you reach Hrad Devín at 10, Muránská 1050, 841 10 Bratislava-Devín. There is parking available near the castle, but keep in mind that it can be limited during peak tourist seasons.

Public Transportation (Bus)

From various locations within the Tatra region, take a bus to Bratislava. Once in Bratislava, you can take bus number 29 towards Devín. The bus will take you directly to the stop 'Devín, Hrad.' From there, it is a short walk to Hrad Devín. Make sure to check the local bus schedules as they vary throughout the day. A one-way ticket typically costs around €1.20.

Train and Bus Combination

You can also take a train from the Tatra region to Bratislava main station. Once you arrive at the station, switch to the bus terminal adjacent to the train station.
