Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Poprad. Head towards Vysoké Tatry on Route 537. Continue on this road until you reach the town of Starý Smokovec. Once in Starý Smokovec, follow the signs to Slavkovská dolina. The road will lead you directly to the entrance of the valley, which is well marked. Parking is available near the trailheads, but be aware of parking fees that typically range from €3 to €5 for the day.

For those using public transportation, take a train from Bratislava to Poprad-Tatry station. From Poprad, you can catch a regional bus (number 201) that goes directly to Starý Smokovec. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Starý Smokovec, walk towards the Slavkovská dolina trailhead. The walk is about 15-20 minutes from the bus stop, following the signs. Please note that a one-way bus ticket from Poprad to Starý Smokovec costs around €1.50.
