Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Vysoké Tatry. Navigate towards the direction of the Štrbské Pleso area by following the signs for the Tatra National Park. Once you reach the junction near the cable car station, follow the signs for Skalnatá dolina. There is a parking area available near the base of the cable car station. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around 5-10 EUR per day.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a local bus from Poprad or other nearby towns to Vysoké Tatry. The bus stops are located near the train station in Vysoké Tatry. From the bus station, you can either walk to the cable car station (approximately 20 minutes) or take a taxi. The cable car to Skalnatá dolina operates regularly, and the ticket costs around 10 EUR for a round trip.
Hiking
