Car
If you are traveling by car, you can reach Skok Waterfall by heading to the town of Vysoké Tatry. From there, take the road leading towards Starý Smokovec. Follow the signs for Tatranská Lomnica and continue until you reach the parking area near the Hrebienok cable car station. The parking fee is approximately €5 per day. From the parking area, take the Hrebienok cable car to Hrebienok station (ticket price around €10 round trip). Once you arrive at Hrebienok, follow the marked hiking trails leading to Skok Waterfall, which is approximately a 1.5-hour hike.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train or bus to Vysoké Tatry. From there, you can catch a local bus to Starý Smokovec. Once in Starý Smokovec, take the Hrebienok cable car to Hrebienok station (cost around €10 round trip). After reaching Hrebienok, follow the well-marked hiking trails to Skok Waterfall, which should take you about 1.5 hours of hiking. Be sure to check the local bus and cable car schedules ahead of time for the most accurate timings.
Hiking
If you prefer hiking from Starý Smokovec, you can start at the bus stop in the town. Take the trail that leads directly to Hrebienok, which is well-marked and takes about 30-45 minutes. Once at Hrebienok, continue on the hiking trails towards Skok Waterfall. The hike from Hrebienok to Skok Waterfall will take approximately 1.5 hours. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking gear and carry enough water and snacks.
