Start your journey at the Žilina Main Train Station (Železničná stanica Žilina). Exit the station and head towards the city center, following the signs for Hlavná ulica. Continue straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Budatín neighborhood. Turn left onto M. R. Štefánika street and continue walking for approximately 500 meters. You will see signs for Budatín castle directing you to the right. Follow the signs until you reach the castle entrance at Topoľová 1.

From the Žilina Main Train Station, take bus number 4 towards Budatín. The bus stop is located directly outside the station. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Budatín' stop. From there, walk straight ahead for about 300 meters, and you will see Budatín castle on your left at Topoľová 1.
