Getting There

Walking
From the Žilina city center, head southeast towards the Žilina train station (Železničná stanica). Once you reach the station, exit the area and walk towards the main road, which is called Karadžičova. Follow Karadžičova until you reach the junction with Karpatská street. Turn right onto Karpatská street, which will lead you towards the riverbank. Continue walking along Karpatská until you arrive at the bridge (most) over the Váh River. Cross the bridge, and once you are on the other side, turn left. Follow the riverside path along the Váh River until you reach the sign for Budatínsky Park, which will be on your right.

Public Transport
From the Žilina city center, you can take bus number 20 from the main bus station (Autobusová stanica). Make sure to check the schedules as they may vary. Ride the bus for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the Budatín stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs towards Budatínsky Park, which is just a short walk from the bus stop. The park entrance will be clearly marked.
