Walking
If you are starting from the Žilina city center, head southwest towards the main square (Námestie Andreja Hlinku). From the square, take the street called Zelená, which will lead you toward the train station. Walk along Zelená until you reach the intersection with Karpatská street, then turn left onto Karpatská. Continue straight, and you will reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Špitálska street, and follow it until you see the signs for Budatín Castle. Continue straight, and you will eventually see Vstupná brána on your right at Zámocká 70/11.

From the Žilina bus or train station, take bus number 30 towards Budatín. The bus will take you closer to Vstupná brána. Get off at the 'Budatín' stop, which is approximately 5 stops from the station. After getting off, walk east on Zámocká street for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Vstupná brána located at Zámocká 70/11.
