From Bled, walk to the Bled bus station located on Ljubljanska cesta. Take a bus heading to Ljubljana; the journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Ljubljana bus station, exit the terminal and walk towards the main road, Trg Osvobodilne Fronte. Look for bus number 6 (or any bus that stops near Celovška cesta) and board it. Get off at the 'Narodni muzej' stop, which is the nearest stop to the National Museum of Contemporary History. Walk approximately 5 minutes down Celovška cesta to reach the museum at number 23.

Head to the Bled Jezero train station, which is about a 30-minute walk from the center of Bled. Take a train heading to Ljubljana, which usually runs every hour. After arriving at Ljubljana train station, exit and walk towards the main road, Trg Osvobodilne Fronte. From there, catch bus number 6 to Celovška cesta. Get off at the 'Narodni muzej' stop, and walk about 5 minutes to reach the museum located at Celovška cesta 23.
