Getting There

Bus
From Bohinj, head to the nearest bus stop, which is likely in Bohinjska Bistrica or at the main bus station in Bohinj. Look for the bus heading to Ljubljana. The journey will take approximately 1 hour to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Ljubljana's main bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the city center. Follow the signs for the center or use your phone’s map. The Ljubljana Tourist Information Center (TIC) is located at Adamič-Lundrovo nabrežje 2. It is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Head east on Trg Osvobodilne Fronte, continue straight onto Miklošičeva cesta, then turn right onto Tivoli Park. Cross the park and follow the signs towards the river. The TIC will be on your left.

Train
Travel from Bohinj to the nearest railway station, which is in Bohinjska Bistrica. Take a train heading to Ljubljana. The train journey will take around 1 hour. Upon arrival at Ljubljana train station, exit the station and head towards the city center. You can walk or take a bus. If walking, go straight onto Trg Osvobodilne Fronte, then continue onto Miklošičeva cesta. After about a 20-minute walk, turn right onto the riverbank, and you will find the Ljubljana Tourist Information Center (TIC) at Adamič-Lundrovo nabrežje 2.

If you are already in the village of Bohinj, find your way to the nearest bus stop or railway station to catch transport to Ljubljana. Once you have arrived in Ljubljana, you can take a leisurely stroll to the TIC. Start from the city center, walk towards the Ljubljanica River, and cross the bridge. Continue walking along the river, and you will reach Adamič-Lundrovo nabrežje 2, where the TIC is located.
