Getting There

Bus
From the center of Bohinj, head to the Bohinj bus station located near the Tourist Information Center. Take the bus heading towards Log pod Mangartom. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Log pod Mangartom bus stop, exit the bus and walk towards Strmec na Predelu. Follow the signs for Mangart saddle, which is about a 20-minute walk uphill from the bus stop. Look for trail markers that lead you to the attraction.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Bohinj. Start at the Bohinj Lake area and take the cycle path towards the village of Stara Fužina. From there, continue on the road that leads you towards Log pod Mangartom. The distance is about 15 kilometers, and you will ascend gradually. It may take about an hour to reach Log pod Mangartom. Once you arrive, follow the signs for Mangart saddle, which is a short hike from the village center.
