From Bohinj, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch a bus to Ljubljana from the Bohinj Jezero bus station. Make sure to check the bus timetable for the next available bus. The journey takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Ljubljana, you can either walk or take a local bus to Celovška cesta 23. If you choose to walk, exit the bus terminal, head east on Trg Osvobodilne Fronte, then take a left on Slovenska cesta, and continue straight until you reach Celovška cesta. The National Museum of Contemporary History will be on your left.

From Bohinj, you can take a train from the Bohinjska Bistrica train station to Ljubljana. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Ljubljana train station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Trg Osvobodilne Fronte). From there, you can walk straight down Slovenska cesta until you reach Celovška cesta. Turn left, and you will find the National Museum of Contemporary History at number 23.
