Bus
From Bohinj, head to the nearest bus station, which is in Bohinjska Bistrica. You can take a local bus to the city of Nova Gorica. Once you arrive at Nova Gorica, transfer to a bus heading to Vipava. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. After arriving in Vipava, walk towards Slap 53a, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Follow the road signs towards the Vipava Valley and look for Petrič winery on your left.

Take a train from Bohinjska Bistrica to the nearest main train station, which is in Jesenice. From Jesenice, catch a train to Nova Gorica. After reaching Nova Gorica, exit the train station and take a local bus to Vipava. Once you arrive in Vipava, walk approximately 15 minutes to reach Petrič winery at Slap 53a.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Bohinj. Head towards the main road leading to the valley. Follow the bike path that leads you towards the town of Vipava. The ride will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Vipava, look for signs directing you to Slap 53a, where Petrič winery is located. It's a pleasant ride with beautiful views along the way.
