From Bohinj, make your way to the nearest bus station, which is located in Bohinjska Bistrica. You can walk there by following the main road south until you reach the bus station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Kobarid. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Kobarid, exit the bus and head northeast on Gregorčičeva ulica towards the main square. Continue straight until you reach the Kobarid Museum, then follow the signs to Waterfall Kozjak, which is about a 20-minute walk from the museum. The trail is well-marked, leading you through beautiful scenery until you reach the waterfall.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Bohinj. Start your journey by cycling south towards Bohinjska Bistrica, then follow the signs for Kobarid.
