From the city of Klagenfurt, take the A2 motorway heading north towards Ljubljana. Continue on the A2 for about 40 kilometers. Take the exit for H3 toward Cerknica/Velika Račna. Merge onto H3 and continue for approximately 15 kilometers. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the road leading to Velika Račna. As you enter Velika Račna, follow the signs towards Čušperk Castle. The castle is located at 1290 Velika Račna, and there is parking available near the site.

Start from Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof (the main train station). Take a train to the town of Velika Račna. Check the ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways) website for the latest schedule. The journey typically lasts around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Velika Račna station, exit and take bus number 12 towards 'Trebnje'. Get off at the 'Čušperk' stop, which is the closest stop to the castle. From the bus stop, it's about a 15-minute walk to Čušperk Castle, following the signs.
