You will need to pass through a toll booth where you can pay a fee (approximately €5). Follow the signs for 'Udine' and take the exit towards 'Udine Nord'. Once you exit, follow the signs for the city center to reach Fortezza Italiana, which is located at 33018 Udine, Italy. Parking may be available nearby, so check local signs for spaces.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Fortezza Italiana via public transportation, first take a train from Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof (main train station) to Udine. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Make sure to check the schedule in advance. Upon arrival at Udine train station, exit the station and find local buses or taxis to take you to Fortezza Italiana. The bus lines 1 and 3 can take you close to the fortress.
