  • Car

    From any location in Carinthia, head towards the A2 motorway (also known as the H4). Take the A2 motorway towards Slovenia, and follow the signs for the border crossing at Šentilj. After crossing the border, continue on the A1 motorway towards Ljubljana. Take exit 31 for Divača. After exiting, follow signs for Skocjan Caves (Škocjanske jame) which will lead you towards Matavun. The caves are located at Matavun 12, 6215 Divača. Parking is available near the cave entrance but may incur a small fee.

  • Public Transportation

    If you prefer public transportation, first take a train from any major station in Carinthia (like Klagenfurt or Villach) to Ljubljana. From Ljubljana, transfer to a regional train towards Divača. Once you arrive at Divača station, you can take a local bus (check local schedules) or a taxi to Skocjan Caves, located at Matavun 12, 6215 Divača.
