Car
If you are traveling by car, start on the main road in the Coastal-Karst region, following signs towards Divača. From the town of Sežana, take the H4 highway towards Divača. After approximately 10 kilometers, take the exit toward Divača. Follow the signs for Kraška cesta, and continue straight until you reach Kraška cesta 67. There is parking available near the cave entrance. Make sure to check for any applicable parking fees.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train from major cities like Ljubljana or Koper to Divača station. The train journey typically takes around 2 hours from Ljubljana. Once you arrive at Divača station, exit and turn left to find the bus stop. Take a local bus to the Divača Cave, which is a short ride away. Alternatively, you can walk approximately 20 minutes from the train station to the cave by following Kraška cesta. Make sure to check the local bus schedules in advance, as they may vary.
Walking
If you are already in Divača, you can reach Divaška Cave by walking. From the center of Divača, head towards Kraška cesta, which is well signposted. The cave is about a 30-minute walk from the town center. Follow Kraška cesta until you see the entrance to the cave. It’s advisable to wear comfortable shoes, as the path may have some uneven surfaces.
