Turn left onto Tržaška Cesta and follow it for approximately 1 km. You will reach a roundabout; take the second exit onto the main road, leading to the center of Postojna. Continue straight for another 1 km until you reach the city center. Look for signs directing you towards Trieste; you will be heading towards the main square. From the square, follow the signs to the bus station, where you can catch a bus to Trieste. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Trieste, follow the signs toward the city center. The James Joyce statue is located on Via Roma, which is a short 5-minute walk from the bus station.

    From the Postojna Bus Station, take the bus heading to Trieste. Buses are usually scheduled throughout the day, so check the timetable when you arrive. The journey will take around 45 minutes.
