Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest town in the Coastal-Karst region, such as Piran or Koper. First, head towards the A1 motorway and take the exit towards Ljubljana. Continue on the A1 for about 40 kilometers until you reach the exit for Luče (exit 43). Follow the signs towards Luče, and once you are in the town, continue straight on the main road. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will reach the Snow Cave Raduha sign. Follow the dirt road to the parking area near the cave entrance.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from the main bus station in Koper or Piran to Luče. The bus journey may take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the connections. Once you arrive at the Luče bus station, you will need to either walk (approximately 5 kilometers) or arrange a taxi to the Snow Cave Raduha. There are usually taxis available near the bus station. Ensure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary.

• Walking

  If you are adventurous and already in Luče, you can walk to the Snow Cave Raduha. From the center of Luče, head northeast on the main road. Follow the road signs indicating the direction to Snow Cave Raduha. It is about a 5-kilometer walk, which should take approximately 1 hour. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the path can be steep and uneven in places.
