From the center of Kranjska Gora, walk to the main bus station located near the Hotel Ramada Resort Kranjska Gora. Catch the bus heading towards Bohinj, which usually departs every hour. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Bohinjsko Jezero stop, which is the closest stop to Julijske Alpe.

Once you arrive at Bohinjsko Jezero, head towards the lake. From the lake's edge, look for marked hiking trails leading into the Julijske Alpe. The hiking routes are well-marked, and you can choose between several paths depending on your hiking experience. A popular route is to take the trail that leads you around the lake and up into the mountains. Ensure you have a map or a mobile app that can guide you through the trails.
