Walking
From the center of Kranjska Gora, head east on the main road (Špruha) towards the Kranjska Gora bus station. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route 201. Turn left onto Route 201 and continue walking for approximately 20 minutes. You will pass by the beautiful Soča River on your right. Keep following Route 201 until you reach the town of Kobarid. The Waterfall Kozjak is located just a short walk from the center of Kobarid. Once in Kobarid, look for signs directing you to the waterfall, which is about a 30-minute hike from the main road.
Bus
From Kranjska Gora, walk to the Kranjska Gora bus station located in the town center. Take the bus towards Bovec and ask the driver to drop you off at Kobarid. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Kobarid, exit the bus and follow the signs to Waterfall Kozjak, which is about a 30-minute hike from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus timetable in advance to plan your return trip.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Kranjska Gora and head towards Kobarid. Start from the center of Kranjska Gora and take Route 201 towards Kobarid. The ride will take about 1 hour, covering approximately 20 km. Enjoy the scenic views along the Soča River as you cycle. Once you arrive in Kobarid, park your bike in a designated area and follow the signs to Waterfall Kozjak, which is about a 30-minute hike from the town.
