Getting There

  • Car

    From Lake Bled, head north on Cesta svobode towards the intersection with the A2 motorway. Turn right onto the A2 motorway towards Ljubljana. After approximately 2 km, take the exit for Zgornje Gorje. Follow the signs towards Zgornje Gorje, and continue on the main road until you see signs for Soteska Vintgar. The parking area is located near Turistično društvo Gorje at Podhom 80. Note that there may be a parking fee, so be prepared with cash.

  • Public Transportation

    From Lake Bled, take the local bus (Bus Line 4) towards Zgornje Gorje. The bus departs from the main bus station in Bled. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Podhom'. From there, it’s a 15-minute walk to Soteska Vintgar. Follow the signs towards the gorge. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return trips, especially in the evening.

  • Walking

    If you prefer walking, start from Lake Bled and head towards the north on Cesta svobode. After approximately 3 km, look for signs directing you towards Soteska Vintgar.
