From Ljubljana, head to the Ljubljana Train Station (Železniška postaja Ljubljana). You can walk there from the city center or take a bus. At the train station, purchase a ticket to 'Cerknica'. Trains to Cerknica typically run multiple times a day. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cerknica station, exit the station and look for local bus services or taxis to take you to Notranjski regijski park. Alternatively, you can walk to the park, which is about a 30-minute walk from the station. Head east on Tabor towards the center of Cerknica, and follow signs leading to the park.

From Ljubljana, go to the Ljubljana Bus Station (Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana). You can take a local bus or walk to the station. Once at the bus station, find the bus heading to 'Cerknica'. The bus journey takes roughly 1 hour. After arriving in Cerknica, you can take a taxi or check for local buses that go to Notranjski regijski park. If you prefer to walk, it is about a 30-minute walk from the bus stop in Cerknica to the park. Walk east on Tabor towards the center of Cerknica, following signs to the park.

Bicycle
If you enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Ljubljana. Head towards Cerknica, which is approximately 50 kilometers away. You can take the bike path that leads out of the city. The route is mostly flat and scenic, allowing you to enjoy the countryside as you ride. Once you reach Cerknica, you can follow the signs to Notranjski regijski park, which is about a 10-kilometer ride from the town center.
