Walking
If you are starting from the center of Postojna, head south on Trg 1. Avstrijske Brigade towards the main road. Turn right onto Hribovška cesta. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Veliki Otok. Follow Veliki Otok for another 600 meters, and you will see the Postojna Cave Parking on your left at Veliki Otok 1. The parking area is well marked, and there are signs pointing towards the cave entrance.

From the Postojna Bus Station, exit and head west towards the main road. You can take local buses that operate towards the Postojna Cave area. Check local schedules for the specific bus lines. If you do not see a direct bus, you can walk the route as described above, which is about a 15-minute walk. Buses may take you close to the cave area, but always confirm with the bus driver about your destination.
