From Maribor city center, head to the main bus station, Avtobusna postaja Maribor, located on the corner of Ulica heroja Šlandra and Ulica kneza Koclja. Once at the bus station, take bus number 6 heading towards Velenje. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the Velenje bus station. From there, you can take a local bus or walk to Velenje beach. If you choose to walk, exit the bus station and head southwest on Šaleška cesta, then turn left onto Rudniška cesta. Velenje beach will be on your left after about a 15-minute walk.

Train and Bus
Start from Maribor train station, which is at Trg generala Maistra 1. Take a train heading to Velenje; the journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Velenje train station, exit the station and turn right onto Cesta Maršala Tita. Walk straight until you reach the Velenje bus station. From there, catch a local bus that goes toward Rudniška cesta. After a short ride, get off at the stop nearest to Rudniška cesta and walk towards Velenje beach, which is located at Rudniška cesta 8.

If you are in Velenje, you can walk to Velenje beach from the city center. Start at the main square, Trg svobode, and head northeast on Cesta Maršala Tita. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rudniška cesta, then turn right. Follow Rudniška cesta for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will find Velenje beach on your left at Rudniška cesta 8.
