From Maribor city center, head to the main bus station (Avtobusna postaja Maribor). You can take Bus 2 or Bus 4 towards Šoštanj. The journey to Šoštanj will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Šoštanj, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, walk along Cesta Maršala Tita heading towards the north-west for about 10 minutes until you reach Kajuhova cesta. Turn left onto Kajuhova cesta and continue for about 2 minutes until you see Villa Mayer on your right at number 10.

Make your way to the Maribor train station (Železniška postaja Maribor). From there, take a regional train heading towards Celje. Get off at the Šoštanj train station, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Šoštanj train station, exit and turn left. Follow the road for about 15 minutes until you reach the main intersection. Turn right onto Cesta Maršala Tita and continue for about 10 minutes until you reach Kajuhova cesta. Turn left onto Kajuhova cesta and Villa Mayer will be on your right at number 10.
