Start at the center of Velenje, at the Velenje Castle. Head east on Cesta Maršala Tita towards the main square, Trg svobode. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the crossing with Primorska cesta. Turn left onto Primorska cesta and walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers. The Muzej usnjarstva na Slovenskem will be on your right at Primorska cesta 6h, Šoštanj.

From Velenje city center, walk to the nearest bus stop at Trg svobode. Take bus number 10 towards Šoštanj. The journey should take about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Šoštanj - Primorska cesta' stop. From there, walk approximately 300 meters along Primorska cesta; the museum will be on your left at Primorska cesta 6h.
