Car

To reach Duino Castle from Mura by car, start on the main road heading towards the A1 highway. Enter the A1 heading south towards Trieste. Continue on the A1 for about 40 kilometers, then take the exit towards Sistiana/Duino. Follow the signs for Duino/Aurisina. As you approach Duino, follow the road signs directing you to Duino Castle, which is located at Frazione Duino, 32, 34011 Duino Aurisina, Italy. There is parking available near the castle.

Public Transportation

To get to Duino Castle using public transportation, start by taking a train from Mura to Trieste. You may need to transfer trains depending on the schedule. Once in Trieste, take a bus (line 36 or 38) towards Duino. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Duino - Castello' which is a short walk from the castle.
