    From the center of Nova Gorica, start at the main bus station (Avtobusna postaja Nova Gorica). Head east on Ulica Tolminskih Puntarjev towards the bridge (Most na Soči). Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Ulica 1. Maja. After about 1 km, you will reach a roundabout. Take the second exit onto Ulica Vinka Vodopivca, which will lead you towards the border with Italy.
