    From Nova Gorica, walk to the nearest bus station, which is located at Avtobusna postaja Nova Gorica. Take bus number 601 towards Piran. The journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Piran, get off at the last stop. From there, walk towards Cankarjevo nabrežje. Head east on Ulica 1. maja towards Cankarjevo nabrežje. Continue straight for about 400 meters, and you will find the Sergej Mašera Maritime Museum at Cankarjevo nabrežje 3.
